Candour Talent is proud to be representing a leading aerospace manufacturer in their search for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their South Wales site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech, fast-paced industry, working closely with experienced engineers and operational teams.



We're looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and confident in solving problems-whether technical or communication-based. If you're ready to take your first step into the aerospace sector and want a varied, exciting role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.



Key Responsibilities



Review and interpret engineering documentation including drawings, reports, specifications, and procedures



Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across departments



Provide technical support to engineering and operational teams



Produce engineering drawings using CAD and SolidWorks to aid in repair processes



Assist senior engineers in daily engineering tasks and projects



Represent the department at internal meetings, report actions and outcomes to the wider team



Communicate and liaise directly with clients and customers (full UK driving licence required)



Get involved in project and continuous improvement initiatives



What We're Looking For



HND/HNC or Degree-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace experience advantageous)



Familiarity with CAD software, ideally SolidWorks



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills



Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new challenges and technical tasks



Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a team-first attitude



Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Full UK driving licence required
