Mechanical Engineer (Hands-on 2D AutoCAD) – 30% Engineering Management

• 2D AutoCAD hands-on design is 70% of the job duties with management being 30% of the required responsibilities
• 8 years of professional 2D AutoCAD mechanical design experience is a requirement to be considered
• A desire to only design in 2D AutoCAD is required (customers require 2D AutoCAD designs and not 3D AutoCAD designs)
• An engineering degree and four years of experience leading a small team of engineers is required
• Pay is up to a maximum of $90,000
• Must be a United States or Green Card holder
• No remote as this is an onsite position
• Full-time, permanent W-2 employee
• Full benefits

• Performing small engineering staff management duties for no more than 30% of the time
• Designing industrial heat transfer systems in 2D AutoCAD nearly 70% of the time
• Producing a variety of engineering drawings
• Working with all the company products

The background of the successful candidates should include the following:

• 8 years of professional 2D AutoCAD mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment
• 4 years of experience leading engineers
• Possess a desire to only design in 2D AutoCAD (customers require 2D AutoCAD designs and not 3D AutoCAD designs)
• An engineering degree
• Possess a solid work history free of multiple short-term jobs
• Being a US or green card holder
• Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
