Our GEC is made up of more than 3, talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.The MEPF Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) in the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams, that contribute to the development of innovative MEPF solutions that optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. Our ability to effectively manage projects, assess client needs, and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes, using the most innovative way of doing computational design. Role accountabilities: Conducts engineering design of water distribution (cold, hot, industrial, etc), waste water distribution and rainwater distribution under the supervision of an experienced engineer and has good knowledge about equipment and systems to be used (grease separators, tanks, pumps, etc.) Designs, calculates, sketches, 3D modeling, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings. Build proficiency in REVIT and other software used in the design process. Capable of managing the agreed-upon budget and schedule for the entire Public Health scope of the project. Create comprehensive engineering documents, including equipment specifications, reports, presentation.Follow company standards and procedures including design and checking. Preparing all the necessary drawings for the specific phase of projects (report, 2D plans, schematics, sections). If required, atend relevant design and client meetings to gain a better understanding of the project and design work required, asking questions of the internal team as necessary. Ensure that Public Health designs meet safety and environmental regulations, sustanaibility and energy efficiencies regulations following industry standards and guidelines. Able to understand the scope of the project, implement national/international standards in Public Health design as well as client demands and project specific requirements. Assisting in doing task-based estimation for Publich Health engineering and modeling. Qualifications & Experience:Mandatory: Bachelors Degree in Public Health (Hydraulics) or Building services. Strong knowledge of design software (e.g. AutoCAD) and calculation software (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Hevacomp, Elite, etc.) Between of 2-5 year experience in Public Health engineering is required. Strong English language skills. Ability to learn new capabilities and skills. Familiar with national norms and standards related to Public Health but also international ones. Candidate to have problem solving skills, creativity, to show proactivity and analytical skills. Good planning, organizational, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position. To show interest in personal and professional growth, in a challenging, rewarding, and competitive professional environment. Capable of doing quality check for junior or graduate engineers. Nice to have: Masters degree in Public Health (Hydraulics) or Building services. Knowledge of Revit MEP. Candidate to show out-of-the box thinking in order to identify any opportunities for automation or innovation. Affilitation to professional organizations.
