Mechanical Engineer (Internship for 12 months)

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer Placement Student to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain practical engineering experience and contribute to various projects within our organization. What will your duties be?

  1. Assisting in the design, development, and testing of mechanical engineering solutions.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering projects from concept to completion.
  3. Conducting research and gathering data to support engineering analyses and evaluations.
  4. Contributing to the optimization of existing products or processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Supporting the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  6. Participating in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to expand knowledge.

Requirements

  1. Right to work in UK
  2. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  3. Strong academic record with a focus on mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  4. Solid understanding of CAD software and other engineering tools.
  5. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  8. Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Detail

This internship is a 35-hour per week position starting in July 2024 and lasting for 12 months. The intern will receive a salary and enjoy holidays and company benefits. Please note that the intern is responsible for managing their own accommodation and transportation.
