Tasked with the responsibility for both short- and long-term planning, as well as managing day-to-day operations of the engineering department, the ideal candidate would be self-motivated, detail- and goal-oriented, with an ability to multitask.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Mechanical Engineering Manager or a similar management role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will assist the Director of Engineering in managing all aspects of the Engineering department, including overseeing the maintenance and repair of all buildings, heating systems, ventilation, refrigeration and mechanical equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

• Management of Contracted Services of the Engineering department to include the proper operation, maintenance and repair of all heating, ventilation, refrigeration and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor the rooms maintenance program and special projects
• Create and maintain inventory of all mechanical systems
• Help to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
