The role:

We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to lead and innovate in the development of complex mechanisms. This role involves 3D CAD design (SolidWorks), engineering analysis, material selection, and manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions. You will collaborate across disciplines, lead design reviews, support production, and liaise with customers and suppliers to drive project success. If you have a passion for precision engineering, problem-solving, and technical leadership, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.



What we want from you:



A degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential.

Experience in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments, ideally within the defence industry.

Proven ability to lead the full design life-cycle, from concept development to production.

Strong analytical skills for designing gear drives, bearings, and motor systems.

Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD for 3D modelling and design.

For Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual with British citizenship
