Kinetic Recruitment are looking for Time-Served Mechanical Fitters for long-term contracts with a well established engineering company in Newcastle Upon Tyne.\n\n3-shift or dayshift positions\n30% uplift for 3 shift position\n2 years worth of work\n£18 - 23 per hour\nOvertime available\n\nThe Role:\nPerform mechanical fitting and assembly activities using hand and machine tools working to fine tolerances.\nCheck finished work in accordance with required standards using relevant measuring equipment.\nMaintain tooling, components, machine and working environment in a clean and orderly state.\nCarry out first line maintenance in line with training.\nMaintain documentation in line with requirements.\n\nSkills and Experience:\nTime-Served in a recognised engineering discipline (Mechanical).\nExperience using mechanical measuring and inspection equipment (micrometers etc).\nPrevious Mechanical Fitting experience is essential.\n\nKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.\nKinetic plc treats all applications confidentially and we review all submissions.
