Mechanical Fitter
Job Description
Major Recruitment are searching for Mechanical Fitters for our client based near Oldham. These vacancies are full-time and permanent for the right candidates.

Duties include:
\n
- \n
- Assemble Pump and Mixer equipment
- Fitting components to engineering drawings and technical specifications, making sure all components are fit for purpose
- Conduct production tests
- Operating machines and using hand/ power tools to secure parts
- Recording work for tracking purposes

Hours of work and pay rate:
\n
- \n
- Monday to Friday on a 2-shift rotation, 36 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday - 6am till 2pm/ 2pm till 10pm
- Friday - 6am till 12pm/ 12pm till 6pm
- £36,188.57 per annum

\n
Successful candidates must have:
\n
- \n
- Time Served Apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, equivalent to City and Guilds Level 3/ NVQ Level 3
- Mechanical Fitting experience, specifically in machinery building, valves and compressors
- Good Computer literacy
