We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America.

What We Offer

  • Swing Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
  • $20.63 - $25.27 per hour

About The Role

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 – 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic MS Office computer skills.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations. (addition, subtraction)
  • Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using both the metric and imperial measuring system.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings with basic GD&T knowledge.
  • Experience with basic CMM operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Audits and inspects products and components using a variety of advanced measurement equipment and techniques, including the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Inspects a variety of parts for conformance to specifications with varying levels of supervision.
  • Uses precision measuring instruments, gauge blocks, micrometers, height gauges, sine plates, optical gauges, etc., as required by different inspection procedures.
  • Maintains accurate inspection records and may support in the recording of calibration records.
  • Verifies accuracy of gauges using master gauges or master parts.
  • Understands relevant set-ups and gauges and may be expected to act as a consultant to internal customers.
  • May calibrate measurement and test equipment for internal customers as needed and maintain equipment database and records.
