Level 1 - Mechanical Inspector

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm | 3-month contract with a possibility of being extended | Compensation range: $24 - $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile final inspection sign-off sheets and inspection packages.
• Use of Microsoft office programs and a computer or laptop to review documents
• Review and comprehend engineering drawings to pull descriptions, part numbers, serial numbers, and other details.
• Verify that inspection equipment can detect defects and ensure inspection methodology is in line with drawing intent.
• Work within the Quality Management system and undergo basic training on policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection plans and protocols
• Ability to read and interpret basics of an engineering drawing (Blueprint reading) 
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Ability to work effectively within a quality management system
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Excel and Microsoft Word 
• US with valid US Passport

Qualifications

• Aerospace industry experience
• Experience with warehouse management
• Cardex (Software)
