Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -



Providing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery

Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and reactive breakdown situations

Efficient response to breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime

Organising and administering the spares stock whilst minimising costs

Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives; machine operation, processes, and procedures

Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -



Have a relevant Mechanical engineering qualification

Previous experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment

Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Have a proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement

On offer for this maintenance engineer vacancy includes -



Basic salary of £35 - £38K depending on experience and what hours you choose to work

Paid overtime available, anything above 40hrs hours per week Monday - Friday is x1.33

Choice of either a permanent morning or afternoon shift depending on preference

28 days annual leave
