Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Shifts, Monday 8-4pm, 1-6 on call
Salary: Up to £39000
Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer within the facilities sector? Seeking a new challenge within 2024. My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical maintenance engineer to join a team in Royal Edinburgh Hospital site based in Edinburgh. This is a great role for someone looking to join a company offering lots of progression and training. This is a mobile position working Day Shift working 8am to 4pm

Main Duties will include:
Provide mobile mechanical maintenance services to clients throughout Edinburgh
Conduct planned preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, including plumbing
Work involves the use of analytical test devices, specialist tools, workshop fixed equipment, portable electrical equipment, emergency generators, medical gas equipment (patient use) suction units, geared drives.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Communicate effectively with clients and deliver exceptional customer service
The Ideal candidate will have:
Relevant mechanical qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering)
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, including plumbing
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
