Mechanical Maintenance Engineer\nLong-term contract\nNewcastle Upon Tyne\n£39-40k per annum (plus shift allowance when on shifts)\n\nKinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a long term contract in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Our client is a well known engineering company with operations worldwide. This position will initially start on a dayshift but will eventually lead on to a 3 shift pattern once the successful candidate settles in.\n\nMechanical Maintenance Engineer skills and experience;\n\nExperience of machine tools\nFormal apprenticeship/ 5+ years engineering experience\nWorking in a machine tool environment \nMechatronics/cross discipline trained\nCompetent with computing, MS applications\nExperience with machine tool geometric alignments/ adjustments\nBasic understanding of induction motors\nKnowledge of the operation of relays/ contactors/ electro-mechanical valves/pumps\nExperience with the use of test equipment\n\nUnderstands basic electrical drawings\nUnderstands advanced hydraulic drawings\nUnderstands advanced pneumatic drawings\n\nExperience with Siemens 840D/Dsl\nFamiliarity with Siemens 840D/Dsl basic diagnostics, alarm messages, I/O\n\nIf you are interested and have the relevant skills and experience please apply via the link provided.\n\nKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years of experience of delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
