Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Double Days

Job Role: Mechancial Bias Engineer

Location: Wellington, Somerset

Salary: £45,(Apply online only)-£48,(Apply online only) per annum + Overtime Available @ 1.5x

Hours: Monday-Friday 06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00 Weekly Rotations

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Duties:

· Attend breakdowns on site machinery & conveyor systems

· Liaise with Engineering management & fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally & in a timely manner

· Follow health & safety procedures

· Attend training & courses for further development, in line with training



Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry

· A good balance of Mechanical/Electrical Fault Finding, Repairs with an electrical bias

· Previous experience repairing & fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs.

· Understanding of Automated processes - Desirable

· Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs) or Time Served

· An openness to learn, share practices & attend training courses when needed.
