About the Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll primarily be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance during production shut down over the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct all engineering and maintenance repairs on-site
- Efficiently handle machinery breakdowns and ensure equipment safety
- Maintain firefighting systems and ensure staff are fully trained on safety standards
- Coordinate maintenance priorities and manage inventory of critical spares
- Oversee building upkeep and manage schedules for maintenance teams

About You
This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in mechanical maintenance. Experience is a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential.

Key Skills

- Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR time-served relevant experience
- Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or refrigeration (certification is a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working autonomously

Working Hours

- Weekend Shifts Only: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Alternating weeks of Days and Nights: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
