Mechanical Maintenance Technician

A Midland based manufacturer is seeking to strengthen their maintenance team with the appointment of a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.



The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be required to work a permanent morning shift of 6am – 2pm (M-F)



As the Mechanical Maintenance Technician your primary task will be to ensure that machinery and



equipment are maintained to a level that ensures minimum downtime and optimises



machine efficiency.



Further Responsibilities Include:



*Carry out preventative maintenance according to PPM schedules



*Assist in the installation and commissioning of all new machinery and equipment



*Carry out corrective maintenance actions promptly and efficiently



*Review the Preventative Maintenance Plans and suggest modifications.



Ideally, candidates will be apprentice trained, with proven ability in Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic principals. It is also advantageous if you have some electrical skills/qualifications but not essential.



The Mechanical Maintenance Technician must have a mechanical qualification along with previous manufacturing experience in a high volume arena.
