Provides in-house modifications to electric motors - Mechanical assembly, hand tools, power tools, forklift driving

Primary Responsibilities:

• Modify electric motors as per customer specification.

• Produce reports and track activities performed

• Work with visiting engineers and QA personnel to evaluate possible factory issues

• Be proficient enough with Word and Excel to produce reports and track activities performed

• Work in conjunction with the warehouse team to insure proper placement of modified motors in inventory.

• Support the Lead in accomplishing team goals and projects.

• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of low voltage AC motors.

• Ability to handle manual and power tools.

• Understand and follow safety procedures.

• Familiar with modification procedures.

• Familiar with the inventory control system.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Strong knowledge of industry certification requirements.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Lifting / Carrying up to 50 lbs.
