Mechanical Planner - Maintenance

As a Central Maintenance Planner, you will be accountable for all outsourced third-party breakdown repair orders daily. You will coordinate response to all breakdown events in accordance with vendor availability and capability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;


Receive all incoming Fleet Maintenance related calls, including driver breakdowns;


Coordinate response to vehicle breakdowns by utilizing our nationwide network of service providers;


Manage all third-party repair orders for our  Account Breakdown Service providers;


Review all quotes received while on shift and identify areas where repair cost can be reduced/ eliminated;


Identify repairs that should be covered under OEM or aftermarket parts suppliers’ warranty;


Coordinate with third party vendors to collect quotes, invoices and preventative maintenance forms;


Ability to create actionable items out of data and information;


~ Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution;


~ Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project
