Job Description:
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee and manage a team responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of automated equipment. You will apply your expertise in industrial electronics, automation, and fabrication to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance. Your role will also involve troubleshooting complex systems, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and managing a team of technicians and engineers in an industrial automation environment.
Leading projects focused on the assembly and fabrication of automated equipment, including control panels and wiring.
Providing hands-on expertise in PCB soldering, cable and wire harness assembly, and troubleshooting of automated systems.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of mechanical systems, including PLCs, robotics, and electro-mechanical devices.
Ensuring all systems meet operational specifications, and identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide your team in the assembly and troubleshooting processes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to technical challenges.
Maintaining high standards of quality control, safety, and efficiency throughout all operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates or bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years in electronic manufacturing, automation, or industrial assembly, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in control panel wiring, PCB soldering, and cable/wire harness assembly.
Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, automation equipment, and industrial electronics.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly blueprints.
Problem-Solving: Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex manufacturing issues.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
