Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with a specialization in Machining Applications. This role is perfect for someone who has transitioned from hands-on machining applications engineering to leading both external and internal projects, focusing on machining and tooling rather than controls. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex engineering projects, ensuring they align with our high standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee engineering projects in machining and tooling, guaranteeing timely, budget-conscious, and quality-compliant delivery.
• Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies for machining projects, optimizing resource and technology use.
• Offer expert guidance on machining processes and tooling design, driving project and operational improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, enhancing the team's machining expertise and collaborative capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in machining applications, with a focus on project management in recent roles.
• Deep knowledge of CAD/CAM and CNC machining, especially in tooling design and implementation.
• Proven leadership skills in multidisciplinary project teams, with a knack for solving complex technical challenges.
