Mechanical Project Manager

Are you a Mechanical Project Manager looking for a new role with a leading tier one M&E contractor? Do you want to work on projects up to £20 million M&E?\n\nAs the Mechanical Project Manager you will be exposed to leading the team on services for projects. On a day to day basis you will guide the project delivery team and participate in bid activity when required.\nTypical developments consist of a mixture of commercial shell & core, commercial fit out and high end residential projects.

This role will consist of managing from preconstruction of procurement, delivery, commission and handover for all M&E services.\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n• Receive estimate from estimator\n• Attend pr-order meeting\n• Address all H&S issues: risk assessments, H&S plans etc\n• Possess SMSTS & CSCS Card\n• Produce and agree project programme\n• Coordinate services with other trades\n• Liaise with in house CAD technicians and design engineers\n• Review technical aspects of system proposals\n• Procure tube and fittings\n• Source and procure plant items: air handling units, boiler etc\n• Source and procure sub-contractors: ductwork, controls, insulation, air conditioning , plumbing & pipework\n• Check and sign off invoices\n• Manage site operatives\n• Attend project meeting\n• Snag and quality control installation\n• Manage all commissioning activities\n• Prepare and submit monthly applications\n• Prepare and submit variations\n\nQualifications, Experience & Key Skills :\n\n• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services\n• Project Management experience running projects up to £20-40million M&E value\n• Commercial Shell & Core or Fit-Out Experience\n• Managing of sub-contractors\n• Managing of site managers & subordinates\n• Procurements\n• Delivery\n• Commission & handover
