Responsibilities/Skills & Experience



Electrical Qualifications: Recognized qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Construction Manager with experience on projects exceeding £10 million in M&E value.

Sector Knowledge: Previous experience working on life sciences, pharmaceutical, or laboratory developments is .

Design Coordination: Collaborating with architects, engineers, and surveyors to confirm and refine electrical design plans.

Team Management: Leading and managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality mechanical installation, meeting all safety and performance standards.

Project Oversight: Managing mechanical installation from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with technical specifications.

Client Engagement: Maintaining positive relationships with the client, attending regular progress meetings, and serving as the point of contact for any mechanical issues or design changes.

Procurement & Budgeting: Overseeing procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring costs are controlled, and all purchases align with the project budget.

Quality Assurance: Monitoring and conducting regular inspections of mechanical work to ensure it meets high-quality standards and adheres to all relevant regulations.

Reporting: Providing weekly and monthly project updates, forecasts, and plans to the client and senior management through reports, phone calls, and meetings.

Compliance & Safety: Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as local building codes.Remuneration Package



Competitive basic salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000, dependent on experience and track record.
