Real Recruits Ltd are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to be part of a growing mechanical division.\n\nYou will be part of site project team, dealing directly with the Company Director and the project managers from the electrical division.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be an experienced in Mechanical Project Management, ideally with a track record working within the industry. This will also suit an experience site manager looking to make the step up.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\n• Manage and coordinate all Mechanical services installation and testing from conception to completion of project\n\n• Understand the project and the systems within the project in-depth\n\n• Work closely with the Principal Contractor on a daily basis to build and coordinate an agreed sequence of works for all necessary tasks\n\n• Order materials and equipment whilst following company protocols /procedures\n\n• Specialise on projects the AOV, Vent, Pluming, AC & Chilled water\n\n• Direct all site management staff including site supervisor, site engineers, site office staff and store managers\n\n• Manage all Mechanical Sub Contractors\n\n• Generate and track RFI’s\n\n• Generate and review valuations\n\n• Generate and review all project variations and provide all necessary supporting information\n\n• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones\n\n• Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks\n\n• Supervise and manage H&S on site to ensure safety on the jobsite\n\n• Oversee all onsite installations to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations\n\n• Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met\n\n• Oversee and manage on site Quality Assurance & Quality Control checks\n\n• Regularly attend meetings as required\n\nQualifications, Experience and Skills:\n\n• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role\n\n• Industry recognized qualification in Plumbing\n\n• HNC or Equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering / HVAC\n\n• Personable with good communication skills, including being confident in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders\n\n• A switched-on, motivated and enthusiastic team player\n\n• Diligent but efficient working practices\n\n• Able to work towards deadlines and with a strong eye for detail\n\n• Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party of confidential information\n\n• Excellent oral and written communication skills\n\n• Organisational skills and the ability to multitask\n\n• The ability to be proactive and take the initiative\n\n• Flexibility and adaptability\n\n• A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.\n\nSalary and package\n\n• Full time, permanent position, 40 hours per week\n\n• Salary up to £45,000 commensurate on skills and experience\n\n• Based in Manchester city centre but willing to travel when required\n\n• Workplace pension scheme\n\n• 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
