The Role – Mechanical Project Manager



We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multi-disciplined mechanical services installations from design through to handover. The successful candidate will:



* Manage programming, technical submittals, and procurement.



* Supervise subcontractors and labour teams.



* Ensure cost control, progress reporting, and health & safety compliance.



* Lead technical and progress meetings.



* Conduct site inspections, snagging, and compile O&M manuals.



* Liaise with clients and ensure projects are delivered snag-free, with final accounts completed.



Projects typically include commercial and education sectors, with budgets ranging up to £3m, and are supported by a strong back-office team.



Experience and Qualifications



To excel in this role, you’ll need:



* A CSCS Black Card.



* Mechanical qualifications (HNC or higher ; time-served experience considered).



* A proven track record of delivering projects in the commercial sector, particularly fast-track fit-outs.



* A thorough understanding of design and drawings.



* Experience managing projects up to £2m–£3m.

Remuneration



Salaries range based on experience and value to the business:



* £55,000 – £75,000



* Travel expenses



* Performance-based bonus (upwards of £6k).
