As they continue to grow, the company is actively looking for a project manager with a Mechanical background and can accomodate immediate starts.\n\nRequirements \n\nProven history of overseeing projects with values between £100k - £14 million\nPrevious experience working in a Project manager role or comparable position for a fit out / MEP Contractor\nCSCS, 1st aid and Mechanical background essentialAdditional skills; \n\nIT Skills\nSolid analytical skills\nQuality & risk management\nImpressive leadership abilities\nSuperb negotiation capabilities\nExpertise in budget management\nCapacity to effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions\nA solid understanding of contract law and relevant regulations\nThorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, systems and technologies\nIn-depth understanding of local, national, and international regulations that impact mechanical systemsThe Role\n\nJob Title: Mechanical Project manager\nJob Type: Permanent\nProject: £100k - £14m Various Commercial spaces (CAT A/B)\nLocation: ManchesterDuties\n\nAppointing contractors\nProvide expert mechanical knowledge\nNegotiate terms with clients, suppliers and vendors\nPrepare, review, negotiate, and implement contracts\nConduct and manage on-site health and safety audits\nProvide regular reports to both internal and external stakeholders\nMonitor project budgets effectively, adhering to project expenditures\nEnsure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies\nOversee the development and review of mechanical system designs and drawings\nAssess contract-related risks and develop strategies to address and minimise them\nCommunicate contractual changes to all stakeholders, administration and/or management\nManage contract modifications and assess their impact on the project's scope, timeline, and budget\nEnsure that all contract deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications through effective oversight\nIdentify and address potential issues during contract execution, and negotiate resolutions in a professional manner\nMonitor all mechanical installations to guarantee works comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications\nCoordinate and supervise tenders, cost estimation, and project development throughout preconstruction and construction phases\nOversee all aspects of mechanical contracts, encompassing the review, negotiation, and finalization of contract terms and conditions \n\nThis is a permanent role With a salary banding between £55,000 - £60,000 plus car allowance.\n\nPlease attach CV if intereseted in role or get in touch with Zack Dawson () (phone number removed)
