Four Corners Mine represents 71,000+ acres of land in Central Florida that is currently being used for the mining and processing of phosphate rock which is the raw material for phosphate fertilizer production. Transportation of products are conducted by truck and rail car. Are you our next Mechanical Reliability Engineer? We are currently seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer (I, II, III, Sr) for our Four Corners, FL site. The position provides technical expertise and leadership to implement and execute asset reliability strategies across a phosphate or mining operating site. Provides Reliability and Process subject matter expertise to team of peers developing and deploying reliability improvement asset strategies. Works with a site team of Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability personnel to monitor asset reliability results, address issues hindering asset reliability improvements, focus on sustaining gains, and delivering value to site financially. Collaborates with peer Reliability Engineers and SME to ensure consistent application and continuous improvement of the reliability strategies across the site. Assesses asset health to prioritize maintenance activities and capital replacement. Focuses on advanced training on reliability topics and process knowledge. What will you contribute? Collaborate with Reliability Superintendents and other peers to develop reliability improvement asset strategies, pursue consistency between sites, share best practices and experiences. Deploy and execute asset strategies. Monitor results to continually refine and improve asset strategies. Mine data from all available sources (OIS, reliability, PCMS, Maximo, etc.) to identify reliability improvement opportunities and develop corrective actions focused on delivering OEE improvement and cost reduction. Utilize Root Cause Analysis processes to review significant failures, identify corrective action to prevent re-occurrence and refine asset strategy to sustain improvement. Identify deficiencies in maintenance processes and develop sustainable improvement. Applies and optimizes PM / PdM activities to drive improvement in asset mean time between failures. Provide prioritized asset assessments that support 5-year capital financial planning. Develop subject matter expertise of fundamental reliability concepts and skills. Develop operations process knowledge required for effective troubleshooting and problem solving. Seize opportunity to build environmental, health, and safety improvements into equipment asset strategies. Be a role model to others in exceeding expectations of EHS policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Responsible for conducting audits and inspections. Reviews and authorizes work permits. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following: Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline; preferably in Mechanical Engineering. Engineer I 0+ years of related experience (ex- heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations experience). Experience in related co-op or internship is preferred. Experience leading teams and facilitating groups. Engineer II 2+ years of related experience (ex- heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations experience). Demonstrated leadership skills and experience. Engineer III 5+ years of related experience (ex- heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations experience). Demonstrated leadership skills and experience. Engineer Senior 8+ years of related experience. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading cross functional teams. P. Eng. designation required for Canadian locations. Required for ALL Levels: MS Office products, CMMS (or similar software) experience. Excellent written and communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management. Facilitation experience with RCA. Working familiarity with RCM and FMEA. Knowledge of Predictive Technologies (vibration, IR, UE, MCA, oil analysis). Development experience with PM procedures. Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities, teamwork and problem solving / decision making qualities. Preferred for ALL Levels: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. OIS, Maximo, Minitab experience. Facilitated experience with RCM and FME. CMRP (SMRP certified maintenance reliability professional), CRE (ASQ certified reliability engineer), CRL (AMP certified reliability leader), CSSBB (ASQ certified six sigma black belt).
