Mechanical Reliability Engineer

You will oversee long-term equipment reliability, operational security, and plant improvement projects. Responsibilities include allocating resources, estimating workloads, ensuring quality maintenance, managing projects within safety guidelines, and planning engineering improvements effectively.Based in our Sungai Puloh, Klang site, you will report to the Maintenance Manager.What You'll DoDeliver the outputs expected in leading maintenance and engineering projects.Deliver continuous improvements in the productionDeliver operation security strategies.Ability to understand manufacturing line capacity and capability constraints or pain points and be able to drive and deliver creative engineering solutions.High awareness of best industrial practices and innovation.Update equipment breakdown findings and action to be taken to related parties.Take lead role in maintenance plan development projects for specific equipment using a systematic approach.Share technical knowledge with Engineers and Technicians through personnel coaching and organized training sessions.Carry out duties as and when directed by the management.What You'll Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in Engineering or any related disciplines.Experienced in maintenance of continuous process equipment in Steel, Paper or aluminium industry is highly desired.The ability to work under pressure and problem-solving skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.At NS BlueScope our success comes from our people.
