TRESU Americas, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the TRESU Group in Kolding, Denmark. We offer a line of products for the commercial printing industry. We build the most technologically advanced chambered doctor blade systems, coating and ink pumps, hot air drying, temperature-controlled chilling systems, printing plate cleaning equipment as well as full production presses for the Flexo industry. The qualified candidate will provide onsite service and remote technical support for all the TRESU product lines.
Mechanical Service Engineer: Our engineers have the responsibility of balancing hands-on work with customer care. As a Mechanical Service Engineer for TRESU, you would be traveling around the Americas and other various countries to install, retrofit, repair, and assess TRESU’s world class products. Additionally, you would provide remote support to customers via phone and email correspondence when offsite.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education/work experience
• Flexible schedule for frequent travel (U.S. and International) and occasional afterhours support (required)
- Familiar with technical drawings and how to read them.
- Knowledge of how to use and navigate 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks.
- Basic understanding of computer applications and hardware
- Communication skills for conveying information accurately and clearly
- Sense and understanding of business and sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English is important.

• Assessing and addressing customer needs
• Reading and communicating technical drawings
• Documenting and reporting information to customers and colleagues
• Recording, analyzing and interpreting test data
• Installing, troubleshooting and servicing TRESU products
- Onsite work, requiring availability travel (U.S. and International) at least 60 % or more around mainly focused to Latin American region, but not limited to, the Americas.
- Providing remote support as part of the global helpdesk, sometimes afterhours
