What You'll Do

Job Summary: The Solar Mechanical Superintendent oversees the mechanical installation of solar projects, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation crews.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical engineering designs and industry standards.
  • Monitor work progress and implement corrective actions if needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation of site activities and inspections.

What You Bring (Your Skills & Experience)

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification .
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in solar or mechanical construction.
  • Strong understanding of solar racking, trackers, and mechanical installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strategic thinker with a tactical mindset. You can see the big picture and also execute the details.
  • Results-driven. You measure success in revenue, not activity.
  • Strong communicator and team player. Sales and marketing must be aligned, and you'll play a key role in making that happen
  • Thick-skinned and relentless. If you need a lot of hand-holding or get discouraged easily, this isn't the right fit.
