Mechanical Technician

Excel Resourcing is seeking a skilled individual with a strong background in mechanical and plant knowledge to join our client's team.

Key Responsibilities:



* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, performing necessary repairs.



* Carry out routine servicing and inspections to ensure machinery operates efficiently.



* Provide on-site support for emergency callouts when required.



* Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and services.



* Ensure safety and operational procedures are followed at all times.



About You:



* Strong mechanical and plant knowledge, with experience working on large machinery or similar plant.



* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.



* Flexibility to handle potential on-site callouts and work outside standard hours when necessary.



* Full UK driving license (essential for company van).



Salary & Benefits:



* £19 - £25 per hour, depending on experience (with flexibility for the right candidates).



* Company van provided for work-related duties and callouts.



* Full-time, permanent position with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (can be flexible)
