About the Role:

As a Media Relations Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our clients global communications strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop and implement long-term media and public relations strategies that align with the company corporate vision. You’ll lead high-impact media campaigns, cultivate relationships with top-tier media organizations, and ensure our brand and reputation are strategically enhanced on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy, ensuring alignment with  global communications vision and corporate growth aspirations.
• Media Leadership: Lead the corporate media campaign, proactively manage relationships with tier 1 media organizations, and serve as the key point of contact for strategic global projects.
• Global Integration: Coordinate media communications across all regions, driving a cohesive media strategy that supports our brand’s global presence.
• Executive Support: Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership, including the CEO, ensuring their messaging aligns with corporate objectives and enhances our public image.
• Crisis Management: Act as a key advisor for global crisis communications, managing reputational risks and ensuring effective communication strategies are in place.
• Innovation & Analytics: Leverage new media channels, monitor effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to continually enhance media outreach efforts.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, or Mass Media.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 years in a media-related position, ideally from a leading PR firm or within a communications function of a reputable organization.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with the capability to influence senior management.
  • Leadership experience in driving projects and motivating teams.
  • Proficiency in managing cultural differences and adapting to changing environments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and report on media effectiveness.
