Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 13 week contract position and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking for a Medical Lab Scientist I to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time, 1st shift position with a required weekend rotation. As a member of the microbiology department, you will be responsible for lab testing and regular day-to-day testing, with a heavy focus on pipetting and following established SOPs for assays, incubations, washes, and other production-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Select and prepare assays based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

·         Perform incubation, washing, and pipetting tasks as part of regular lab testing.

·         Conduct regular microbiology testing, following established protocols.

·         Maintain quality and consistency throughout the testing process.

Qualifications:

·         MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) or MLS (Medical Lab Scientist) certification.

·         Previous microbiology lab experience.

·         Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

·         Location: Indianapolis, IN

·         Job Type: 13 weeks Contract

·         Shifts: Mon – Fri with rotating weekends, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM  

·         Pay Range: $36-$38 Hourly W2
