Melting Process Engineer (RDSS)
: Manufacturing process development and engineering with a focus on critical asset life. Lead activities to achieve business objectives. Worldwide manufacturing support for asset life, operational, and performance related issues. Support or lead troubleshooting efforts. Manufacturing process optimization. Execute technical analysis of the manufacturing process and drive to conclusions to promote improved process capability. Interface with R&D, design, and plant engineering for development and implementation of new materials, processes and technologies into manufacturing. Develop technology and implement process improvements utilizing engineering best practices including DMAIC, PCPD, Six Sigma, KT, etc. Lead and support manufacturing capital expansions, startups and equipment repair worldwide as required. Support process standardization, documentation, and governance. Functions as a leader or support role in manufacturing problem solving and project. Provide trouble shoots to process and equipment issues, identifies root cause and corrective actions. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel. Supports new technology migration through equipment installation, process optimization and documentations. Assist on data analysis for process engineering activities (experiment, development, etc.). Provides day-to-day problem solving support to production and development operations. Required skills: Process excellence and Statistical skills – PCPD, Statistical analysis, Big data, Digital transform ability. Relative Chemical& Material Engineering understanding or thermodynamic knowledge. Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills utilizing Chinese and English. Positive working attitude and interpersonal skills. Proactively engage problem solving and analytical skills. Experience or willingness to work across multiple cultures on a globally diverse team. Flexible and open for business travel.
