PositionOverview: As an MEP Estimation Engineer, you willplay a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by providingaccurate cost estimates for MEP systems in construction projects.You will collaborate closely with the project management andengineering teams to ensure the timely and cost-effectivecompletion of projects while adhering to quality standards andclient requirements.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Analyzeproject specifications, drawings, and other documentation toprepare comprehensive MEP costestimates.
• Conduct site visits and assessmentsto gather relevant information for accurateestimations.
• Utilize estimation software andtools to develop detailed cost breakdowns for MEP systems,including mechanical, electrical, and plumbingcomponents.
• Collaborate with internalstakeholders to review and validate cost estimates andproposals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunitiesand value engineering solutions while maintaining project qualitystandards.
• Prepare and present estimationreports, including detailed breakdowns of material, labor,equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Participatein bid meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, andsuppliers.
• Stay updated on industry trends,market rates, and technological advancements in MEP systems toenhance estimation accuracy andefficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering, or relatedfield.
• Proven experience as an MEP EstimationEngineer in the construction industry, preferably with a maincontractor in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge ofMEP systems, construction methods, andmaterials.
• Proficiency in estimationsoftware.
• Strong analytical skills withattention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationwith internal teams, clients, andstakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressureand meet tight deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.
• Familiarity with localregulations, codes, and standards related to MEP systems in the UAEispreferred.
