Role Overview
Lead mechanical teams in designing MEP systems for K-12 and Higher Education projects. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and engineers to deliver compliant, high-quality plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership:
- Define project scope/objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Oversee Construction Administration, including site observations and compliance.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams (internal/external).
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Execution & Compliance:
- Apply project management methodologies to tailor execution strategies.
- Resolve issues using engineering tools and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Escalate critical challenges to leadership proactively.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
- PE License (Mechanical/Electrical).
- 8+ years of engineering experience; 4+ years in MEP project management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license; 20% travel readiness (may include flights).
