Mergers and Acquisitions, Integration Project Manager

We are currently looking to add a Mergers and Acquisitions, Integration Project Manager to our Denver HQ team. This is an on-site position in our downtown Denver headquarters.

Position Overview:

Reporting to our VP, PMO, we are currently seeking a Mergers & Acquisition Integration Project Manager who will be responsible for leading activities to integrate new acquisitions into our Frontline Road Safety Group company.

This high-visibility M&A integration role has responsibility for participating in due diligence prior to acquiring companies to formulate the plan for integration and highlight and identify potential risks. Post Close, the individual in this role will help coordinate integration activities.

This role is encouraged to implement best practices and scalable solutions, while creating transparency and proper change management protocols to ensure the most successful project execution experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze information shared in data rooms, hold well-structured meetings with the target to learn about their company, and document findings and risks for the Corporate Development team.
  • Hold regular meetings with all employees from acquisition to provide updates on integration progress.
  • Coordinate the integration activities of HR, Marketing, F&A, Support, Professional Services, and Operations. Coordinate with IT project managers and Division Leadership on integration activities in their area.
  • Understand unique requirements the acquisition may have
  • Facilitate creating solutions for acquisition’s unique requirements
  • Coordinate Go-Live (training, communication, Q&A sessions, and post Go-Live activities
  • Set milestones for the above activities and report on status using project management software
  • Identify risks and issues with the above and address as needed to allow for successful implementation
  • Ability to track / document details is a must
  • Conduct post-mortems after each acquisition and feed improvements identified into the M&A playbook
  • Assist with other migration duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2-4 years of previous experience project management experience, including managing M&A integration
  • Experience with data migrations
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and project scheduling skills
  • Must demonstrate strong customer satisfaction values; is strongly motivated by providing exceptional experience for internal / external customers
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Easily establishes rapport and effective relationships, while driving accountability for shared results
  • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both mid-level and executive level
  • Experience working with multi-site organizations .
  • Prior PE experience strongly
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with demanding and highly fluctuating workload required.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize key restraints and bottlenecks while identifying possible solutions needed
  • Ability to run cross functional integration project plans while maintaining key organizational priorities a must
  • This position will require 15-20% travel

COMPETITIVE PAY/BENEFITS PACKAGE

  • Pay range will be commensurate with knowledge/skills/abilities but should fall in the range of $120-160K.
