Metal Fabricator Job Description:

FabTech Supply, a division of Chancey Metals LLC, is a leading manufacturer of OEM Parts and Products. With over 90% of our products made in-house, we eliminate most supply chain issues companies face with imported products. When producing high-volume parts, the parts can be grouped, assembled, and/or packaged in a manner that facilitates efficient use in the factory. Various hard-to-control kits and assemblies can become catalog items for ease of ordering and are available from stock.

We are a looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable and able to work safely with attention to detail, while also looking to improve the processes in place when needed.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Welding, reading blueprints, cutting, and bending all types of materials
• Mig and Tig Welding
• Plus if working knowledge and experience running Press Brake, Roller and Shear (3+ years of experience)
• Analytic skills
• Attention to detail
• TEAMWORK and communication skills are a must
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
• Work efficiently and independently with minimal guidance
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Experience in operation of various manufacturing equipment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing, working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating heavy machinery. The noise level in the work environment can vary but noise is usually moderate to high.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing.
• Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty.
• At times, the ability to work overtime also MAY be required. The ability to perform these requirements is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
