our client is one of the leading dealers of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap materials, and for our client we are looking for an experienced Trade Operations Manager to lead our trade team and ensure the smooth handling of trade-related processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage day-to-day trade operations and liaise with our India team on various trade issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate the complexities of international trade.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day trade operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the main liaison with the India team for all trade-related matters, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Analyze and resolve trade discrepancies and issues as they arise, ensuring timely shipment solutions.
  • Develop and implement trade operation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor trade performance metrics and report insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders to streamline trade operations and support overall business needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on trade compliance, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Stay updated on trade regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to trade transactions and ensure record-keeping practices are followed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field; Master’s degree .
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in trade operations or logistics management, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in trade management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
