Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Hyperion Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Hyperion applications and be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects in a collaborative environment while contributing to critical business decision-making processes.
This is a hybrid position, and the candidate may be based in Arlington, VA; Montgomery, AL; or Dayton, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle Hyperion applications, including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Financial Management (HFM).
- Design and implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions tailored to business needs.
- Build and optimize calculation scripts, business rules, and data load processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform data integration tasks, including developing ETL processes and managing metadata using tools like FDMEE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hyperion applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct performance tuning for Essbase cubes and other system components.
- Document system configurations, processes, and changes thoroughly.
- Stay updated on Oracle EPM cloud and on-premise product updates and enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion applications (Planning, Essbase, HFM, or related tools).
- Proficiency in writing and debugging calculation scripts, business rules, and SQL queries.
- Experience with data integration tools, such as FDMEE or ODI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud solutions (e.g., Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service - PBCS or Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service - FCCS).
- Knowledge of scripting such as Python or VBScript for automation.
- Certification in Oracle Hyperion or related technologies.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
