Mig Welder
We are recruiting on behalf of our TF1 based client for a Mig welder/fabricator. As a Mig Welder/Fabricator, you will be essential in producing high-quality metal components through skilled welding and fabrication techniques. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in hand tools, power tools, and metal work to ensure precision in your projects.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Structural MIG Welding
· Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead and Position welding.
· Report all quality/design problems to Fabrication Manager
· Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to our clients Risk Assessment and Procedures
· Ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with drawings and specifications
· Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required
· Passing a weld test at the interview stage
Experience and Knowledge required:
· Ability to work independently and with own initiative
· Experience using overhead cranes and power tools is essential
· Experienced as a MIG Welder
· Experience reading technical drawings
· Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
· High level of attention to detail
· Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
· Punctual and reliable
Hours and Benefits:
· Monday – Friday = 07:00am – 15:30pm
