MIG Welder

Job Title: MIG Welder (Structural Steel)



Location: Chesterfield



Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour + Overtime (1.5x)  



Job Type: Temporary to Permanent  



Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30 + Optional Overtime until 16:30  



Are you an experienced MIG Welder with strong knowledge of structural steel? We’re looking for a skilled welder to join a well-established company on a temp-to-perm basis.



What You’ll Be Doing:  



- Daily MIG welding, mainly working on structural steel projects  



- Working from technical drawings (experience )  



- Maintaining high welding standards and safety compliance  



What We’re Looking For:  



- Minimum 4–5 years MIG welding experience  



- Solid background working with structural steel  



- Fully trained in welding techniques – no formal qualifications or coding required  



- Reliable, flexible and able to work well as part of a team  



Hours & Benefits:



- Standard hours: 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday  



- Overtime available daily until 16:30 (paid at 1.5x)  



- 1 x 30-minute unpaid break + 1 x 15-minute paid break  



- Friendly and supportive working environment
