Major Recruitment are looking to hire for MIG Welder / Fabricators for our well established client based in Nottingham

Shifts Available:
\n
- \n
- \nMornings/Afternoons: Rotating fortnightly, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- \nNights: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10pm-6am
\n
\n
\n
Pay Rate: £12-£16 per hour + shift allowance
\n
- \n
- \nMornings/Afternoons: £1 per hour shift allowance for the first 40 hours
- \nNights: £2.62 per hour shift allowance for the first 40 hours
- Overtime paid at 1.5x rate after 40 hours
- Paid 10-minute and 30-minute breaks
\n

\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Proficient in MIG welding of thin mild steel and stainless steel (primarily stainless).
- TIG welding experience is welcomed but not essential; pay rates negotiable if experienced.
- Ability to learn and adapt to welding aluminum if necessary.
- Capable of dressing own welds and performing additional tasks such as drilling and tapping when required.
- Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings accurately.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in welding, particularly with stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Weld test completed for all candidates.
- Majority of work involves welding 5-10mm thick materials, but sometimes thinner.
