Job DescriptionOur client is a well-established and growing Tier 1 manufacturer with several plants operating and a view to further acquisitions and expansion. Business is very good. This role will be a key new addition to the maintenance team.Key Responsibilities:The Millwright is responsible for to troubleshooting, programing and repairing production related equipment that meet compliance and customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner. More precisely, the incumbent:Troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial equipmentRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other specifications to determine installation procedureWork with other associates or contractors on assigned projectsPerform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and keep recordsOrder supplies and spare parts as need for assigned projectsParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesFollow all health and safety regulationsPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright licenseExperience in industrial/manufacturing electrical systemsMIG welding experience with robotic welding and metal fabrication an assetAbility to read drawings, blueprints and specificationsMechanical and mathematical aptitudeExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment.Able to work rotating shiftsAble to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basisExposure to noisy environmentOur client offers a competitive compensation package with a comprehensive, flexible group benefits program.
