Millwright or Electrician - Rotation
Hiring a licensed 433a Millwright OR 442/309a Electrician for our Simcoe location! PERMANENT POSITION 3 shift rotation - Days, Afternoons and Nights Days 6:30am-2:30pm Afternoons 2:30pm-10:30pm Nights: 10:30am-6:30am This Millwright/Electrician position offers you: - Incredible benefits to protect you and your loved ones including unlimited paramedical and 100% disability coverage - A unionized work environment - Opportunity for growth within the company Advantages - Full benefits, unlimited paramedical (physio, chiro etc.) - 100% disability coverage - Amazing pension plan - RRSP matches + added 4% - The chance to participate in plant upgrades + modernizing - Rate of pay is being renegotiated and increased for September, currently at $38.75 - Uniforms cleaned weekly - Steep discounts on company products Responsibilities • Inspect + troubleshoot machinery • Perform thorough preventative maintenance • Assist with other duties (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, assisting technicians, fabrication, welding, fitting, rigging and hoisting, installations of equipment and removal of equipment) • Utilize various hand tools, precision tools, electric/pneumatic tools Qualifications - 433A Millwright license or 309a/442a license is required - Experience with different types of welding + fabricating an asset for millwrights - Comfortable with all sorts of hand-held and pneumatic tools - Experience with pillars/cappers/bottling - Familiar within the food + packaging industry is an asset, but not necessary Summary Interested in this Simcoe position?
