Plant Maintenance Millwright/Mechanic is needed in Batavia/West Chicago, IL to maintain production equipment for manufacturing lines. This position offers great benefits and the opportunity to work in a high speed production plant. As part of the production team, Millwrights/Mechanics are trained in the process front to back and assist in maintaining high efficiencies and reduced spoilage. Job duties include operating equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and lubrications, perform root cause analysis and breakdown repairs on Industrial compressors, vacuum pumps, cooling towers, punch presses, rotary equipment, ovens, oxidizers and MUA’s. Those millwright mechanics with experience adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fabricating and welding parts, and are team players will be successful. Good attitude and culture fit is just as important as mechanical and electrical aptitude/repair skills. 3+ years' experience working in a production line setting is required. Must be able to pass pre-employment background/drug screens.
