Salary: £47,683+ Depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
\n
- \n
- Develop candidate requirements and generate system specifications against system capability route map objectives
- Proactively engaging with subject matter experts, and Aircrew operators, to review software specifications and design concepts
- Lead product testing and identify resolution plans for identified technical issues
- Support engineering activities leading to the qualification and certification of mission planning capability
- Lead technical reviews with internal and external suppliers
- Lead presentations and product demonstrations
- Lead project Engineering Lifecycle Management design review process
- Manage junior engineers to support their career development

Your skills and experiences:
\n
- \n
- Hold a degree or equivalent engineering qualification alongside an engineering background
- Experience of taking design requirements and deriving requirements into tangible engineering solutions
- Experience of working with operators, subject matter experts and engineers to resolve engineering problems
- Desirable:
- Eurofighter Typhoon ground system and associated mission data knowledge would be highly desirable

Join a dedicated team of systems engineers, software experts, and aircrew operators developing cutting-edge capabilities for the Sceptre Mission Planning System. This team enhances mission effectiveness by evolving aircraft functionality and delivering innovative planning solutions. As a senior engineer, you will collaborate across the engineering lifecycle, working on impactful projects while engaging with suppliers in Yeovil, and potentially traveling across the UK and the Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of mission planning systems.
