Primary Responsibilities
- Provide priority response to potential customers
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships
- Educate customers on the remediation process
- Obtain site photos, create an accurate sketch of all affected areas, and create an initial estimate and scope of work for all projects
- Analyze labor, equipment, and time requirements for each project
- Recognize project constraints
- Deliver a consistent and well-defined estimate using estimating platform
- Conduct site visits as needed throughout project life
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in estimating and/or insurance adjusting
- Superb customer service track record
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficient use of Xactimate and DocuSketch
- Advanced math skills
- Must have good driving record
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. Normal schedule is 8.5-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Due to the emergency response nature of the business, this position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work beyond normal hours. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
