Our client is recruiting for multiple Mobile Gas Engineer / Field-based Gas Service Engineer roles to cover the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire areas. A Company Vehicle will be provided. This is a permanent opportunity.\nApplicant Requirements:\n• You must hold a Commercial Gas qualification/certification, either COCN1 or CODNCO1\n• You must be a Gas Safe registered Gas Engineer\n• Ideally be qualified and accredited by Gas Safe in commercial gas modules to include CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT and TPCP1A\n• Experience maintaining Gas equipment / pipe work and hot and cold water systems\n• 18th edition, or supplementary electrical skills will be highly desirable\n• Experience of completing job certificates in an electronic format\n• Full UK Driving Licence is required, as this vacancy will involve travel within a specified area for which a van or car will be provided\n• Demonstrable experience of liaising with customers\n• Experience of working alone or as part of a team\n• A good level of PC literacy\nSalary: £41,917 per annum + Standby allowance (circa £290 per week, when on rota) + appropriate overtime rate when attending the call + Company Vehicle.\nBenefits include: 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service + Bank holidays.\nHours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.\nNOTE: You will be required to join the area stand-by / call out rota to cover out of hours calls on a 1 in 4 week rotational basis.\nJob Description:\n• As a Mobile Gas Engineer you'll provide technical diagnosis and solutions, performing routine maintenance checks in relation to Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems with some electrical maintenance.\n• You'll perform fault finding, maintenance, repair and installation of these systems and will regularly liaise with customers.\n• Working across a specified region you'll be required travel.\n• You'll report directly into the Technical Service Manager, working with customers, other engineers and sub-contractors on a daily basis.\n(Previous suitable job titles could include; Field Service Engineer / Gas Service Technician / Heating Engineer / Gas Maintenance Engineer / Gas Installation Engineer / Mobile Heating Engineer / Service and Repair Engineer / Gas Safety Engineer / Boiler Engineer / Gas Technician / Commercial Gas Engineer / Heating Engineer)
