Maintenance Electrician - Edinburgh - Up to £40,000 \n\n CBW is recruiting for an experienced electrician to cover 20 sites throughout the City of Edinburgh area on a mobile basis.  Your main duty is to carry out the maintenance of all electrical services and equipment.  You must have relevant electrical facilities maintenance experience and be able to undertake general building maintenance.  \n\n Key responsibilities:\n\n To undertake the day to day operation, planned maintenance, fault finding and repair, periodic inspections and testing of the electrical services. \n\nTesting and inspection.\n\nMain switchgear and distribution systems.\n\nLighting controls.\n\nMinor works and installations.\n\nThe capability to operate a PDA system integrated with a CAFM system and ensure timely information flow.\n\nTo ensure that PPM’s and associated work is carried out within allocated times.\n\nEnsuring that these records are kept up to date at all times with test results.\n\nTo communicate all necessary information regarding breakdown problems, alterations, maintenance and technical information required.\n\nTo liaise and work with specialist contractors as required.\n\nRequirements :\n\nIndustry recognised training apprenticeship.\n\n18th Edition.\n\nExperience working in an FM environment.\n\nAble to establish parts/plant/materials necessary for completion of tasks.\n\nFlexible attitude to work individually and working as part of a team.\n\nReliable and trustworthy.\n\nConfident in communication with clients and senior managers.\n\nTake part in out of hours duty roster/on call.\n\nHours of work\n\nMonday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm.\n\n40 hours a week.\n\nOvertime available at weekends.\n\nPackage\n\nSalary up to £40,000.\n\nHolidays 24 days plus bank 9 holidays.\n\nPension.\n\nFull expensed van and PDA system.\n\nInternal and External Training Courses
