Test & inspect Electrician needed (Mobile role)\n\nArea: Reading, Guildford (Regional coverage) \n\nTime: Full time, permanent position \n\nSalary: £38k Basic, OTE £50k \n\nOur client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.\nInspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.\nIdentify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.\nProvide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.\nEnsure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.\nEnsure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.\nAdhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.\nParticipate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.Qualifications:\n\nA minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.\nCity & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.\nNVQ Level 3\n18th Edition\nIn-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.\nStrong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.\nValid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).What We Offer:\n\nCompetitive basic £38k minimum (OTE upto £50k per annum and benefits package)\n12k per year average commission \nOpportunities for career advancement and professional development.\nA supportive and collaborative work environment.\nAccess to the latest tools and technology in electrical inspection Please call or send CV to apply \n\nPlease note, proof of right to work & qualifications required before processing application \n\nIDN1
